Due to the coronavirus our singing group is having a break. Find our more on our Coronavirus page.

Why not sing along to our wonderful choir singing Stand by Me” filmed by Jon who has aphasia.

Sing with no worry about words or reading.

Sing and use your voice for enjoyment.

Build confidence, make friends.

Sam, who is a musical director of La La Choirs, leads the group. Sam is trained in aphasia and everyone joins in at their own pace. We all understand that singing benefits the body and the soul. We achieve a fantastic sound from everyone at our musical group – and you’ll leave with a smile on your face.

Relatives, friends and carers are very welcome to join in. Friendly volunteers help out too. Come along – we’d love to meet you!

“The singing helps us bring our voice out louder and stronger, and that’s possible without having to remember what we are going to say or finding a word to express ourselves. Sam helps build the energy to break boundaries in speech and in the process, build strong friendships.”

“The sessions have positively impacted my life. Come along to our next singing session and discover the positive energy within.”
