Creative Art

Our Creative Art sessions are taking a break from 19th May.

We understand that aphasia can make using words tiring and challenging.

Creative Art offers a way to express yourself without words.

It’s a powerful way to communicate your thoughts and feelings – or just to be quiet and language free!

The sessions are run with the arts charity ‘Magic Carpet’

We’ve exhibited our work too.

“Everybody is good at art. Good art is not what it looks like, but what it does to us. It’s how it makes us feel!”

“Creativity gives us the ability to see things in a different way. And the courage to step out and do something in a way that hasn’t been done before…”

“Art speaks when words are unable to explain. I can say things with colour and shape that I couldn’t say any other way, things that I had no words for!”
