Living with Aphasia was thrilled to join in with the Exeter University Volunteer Fair last week. Thank you Sam, our volunteer from last year, for helping us with the stall and spreading the word. 
We generated lots of interest from students who signed up to our “Volunteer Taster Day”. Students learnt about aphasia and how to create good conversations with people with aphasia using supported conversation techniques.
Afterwards they all stayed to chat to people with aphasia at our Drop In group. Tea and cake eating noted as essential requirements!
