Living with Aphasia were very happy to help out with the speech and language therapists CommunicationMatters2Me campaign at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. A great  event as part of “Your Road to Wellbeing” initiative and thanks for the invite!

The speech and language therapy department put on a fantastic stand with lots of “Communication Challenges” for the public to take part in. Plus activities to highlight the importance of speech and what can happen if this becomes difficult.

Several people from Drop In came along to help out by making speech bubbles with “What Communication Means to You” to post on twitter.

It was a lovely to be working alongside the speech and language therapy team to promote the awareness of speech and language difficulties.
