Thank you to the South West Stroke Group for inviting us, the Living with Aphasia charity, to talk at their inaugural meeting this week. The SW Stroke Group was set up for speech and language therapists working with stroke patients in this area. It’s aim is to encourage the sharing of information and good practice in the field of stroke management.
It was a great opportunity to talk about how Living with Aphasia works with the local speech and language therapy department to improve the lives of people with aphasia.
It was also a chance to discuss how to continue developing joint working and sharing of resources.
A very positive meeting – thank you!
